I suppose I'll bid $20 for the Nittaku -- can't find out much about it, but I'm assuming it's a fairly soft blade, while still having enough speed to put away loose shots.

$21.00.

Varghese, could you tell us a little more about the blade? I'm assuming it would be good for classical defensive play, while still having enough pop to put away loose shots.... but perhaps the blade is new, or merely not very popular, because I can't seem to find out much about it.

Thanks,

Jack

I will not say the Haneyoshi is a classic defensive one. It has more layers (Two plies Kevlar and five plies wood) for top spin and smash. There is less vibration. It has a soft touch. It is a DEF+ blade. The weight is only 82 g. The Japanese chopper Haneyoushi uses it.
