Bro which country are you from, you must have been playing for a long time. Tell you the truth I carry 3 bats with me, and I use a bat accordingly to the level of my opponent..1st one for stroke, 2nd for medium class and 3rd for advance players. |

I'm from the US. I'm playing seriously for 2 years. I think you have taken the right decision to use three blades. I'm a defensive player and have found I have to use different blades based on my opponents skill. This may not matter for an attacking player, but for a defensive player, his game is more responsive to the opponents. I play against a 6' 7" player whose shots come to me with a high arc to my head level. I have found it very difficult to play against him with my current set up. But I hate to change to a different blade in between matches because that can throw me out. Do you use the same blades and rubbers with different sponges or use different blades and rubbers all together? |

I also carry few bats, 2 to be precise. One for advance play whilst the other for moderate play. Both can be used for stroking.
To answer your question on the bat and rubber, sometimes I change the rubber some of the time. The reason being to try out that particular rubber and test its condition during normal play. I sometimes would change the rubber just to try different stroke and will note down the characteristic of the rubber. |

Same rubber different thickness, my favourite blades hmmm...... Stiga Tube Light, Kong Ling Hui Special and Pimorac Carbon. I also carry lots of food with me, chocolate bars, breads, sometimes burgers, sandwiches and peanuts . I always have a tonic drink on standby all the time and I drink it as it is..no ice I'll do all this during break, just to sustain my energy. Its hard to play with a good player if your body is hungry or tired you know what I mean

I can tell you playing with different paddles on the same day between matches will mess me up. I don't know is it because I have to play defense and offense in a match. Sometimes at the club, my back hand chops dont work well because of some reason, and that is end of the road for me. While I try to fix that, I get more weak in my fh. I keep a spare shoe in the bag in case I can use if the floor is not slippery. I would love to play with table tennis shoes but I cant play most of the time because the floor is slippery.

I carry my Phone and sometimes my Laptop I play mostly at night, Training before playing a weekly interclub match. So in between I have to eat dinner, But making sure I Dont fill myself, Otherwise with my short height compared to others I cant run fast. Also you have to be careful in winter to put clothes on after a match otherwise you'll get a cold |

I have visited a tournament last year. I have been practicing with a player from that tournament. I had to run for a second to grab a drink. When I have got back, my wife told me that this player (we became friends later) opened his bag and picked a new racket. I said to my wife that is okay. After the practice, I have asked him how many rackets he has. He opened up his bag and showed me how many he has. To my alas, I saw at least 10 paddles in his bag - all assembled with different kinds of rubbers and paddles. He says he will pick one based on his mood.

Wow! Did you see what the rubbers were like? Like were they expensive? And yes I do, I leave it the car. |
