What is your view when comparing similar rated ball, for example a 2-star DHS ball as compared with a 2-star Nittaku ball? Are they the same or is one qualitative weaker than the other?
What about 1-star balls?
(Note : I am not comparing 3-star balls as most 3-star balls which are ITTF-approved are used in tournament)

(Dunno guess it must be the weight of the ball I use only 1 & 2 star for multi ball training. Anything higher than 3 star would be Nittaku Premium I think

The weight of * ball will be less than a ** ball which is less than a *** ball. At our club, we use **** balls which are heavier than ***. I sometime feel I'm hitting a golf ball when I play a **** ball. They travel faster too.

I think the performance of a ** ball between DHS and Nittaku differ. There is a possibility that both brands perform the same if they are coming from a same company. Isn't DHS a Chinese and Nittaku a Japanese company? If that is the case, there would be a performance difference.
